Today I'm going to talk about my pregnancy.

I found out I was preg in Jun11 and was thrilled that I am finally preg!! Having been married since 2008, hub and I only start to plan to have a baby in 2010. We wanted to have some me time 1st before planning for a  baby.

Anyway, back to the topic. we only start planning for it in Yr 2010. Every month, I does not look forward to see the "arrival" of my menses as it simply mean, u r not preg.. N this is kinda demoralising. I try to use the ovulation test strip and everytime during my ovulation period, I will pee on it and see if I'm fertile, the result is always irritating...Not sure if I use it the wrong way or I am not fertile at all!! !@#$%^&%$#@
I even told hub that we should go to consult a Dr and go thru test to see if we are both OK?

In Mar'11, I scheduled an appointment for full body checkup at Thomson Medical Novena to do full body checkup and I opt for the Well Women’s Medical Health Screening (</= 41 years old) - Complete Medical Examination for $506. After 2 weeks, I went down to collect my report and was greeted with good results, cholesterol level, blood pressure ok, both fallopian tubes are open. Hence, my Dr told me to go ahead to try to conceive. If still no preg, can go back to look for her and she can recommend a gynae to me.  

To assist n enhance the chances of preg, I use the online ovulation calendar calculator to help me determine when is my most fertile period and best of all the calculator also help to determine when is the best day to try for baby girl or boy. I wasn't particular with girl or boy cuz to me, they are my offspring. I will love them no matter what gender they are. I personally prefer girl as I can doll them up mei mei and I know for sure, my parents will love her to bits...

After the body checkup, I told hub that now I am perfectly healthy n fine to conceive and it his turn to go for checkup! He brushed it off when I reminded him to go for it. He delayed it again and again...but I cant blame him for that, cuz he was either overseas for work or preparing for his exam. So, few months down, we have been constantly trying to conceive, but it always a disappointment and this is the only time that I was not looking forward my menses to arrive. 

Viola!! God answered my prayer!!  I was pregnant in mid Jun'11. I was having dinner buffet at Merchant Court with my mummy dearest after my ACCA exam. Mummy dearest knew my love for salmon sashimi and ask me why I did not take any. I told her I feels like vomitting upon seeing it, the first thing she ask me was am I preg, I told her cannot be. And she probe me further, asking me if my menses arrived, etc, I told her it late this month and she asked me whether I have tested. I told her no. I don't want to feel so depressed when the result is negative. I told her, probably it the exam stress, that why it could be late. 

The next day, I was skype~ing with my ex-coll, Michelle who migrated to US with her bf and she asked me if I preg liao, etc...I told her what happened the day before and she told me to go get a preg test kit to test. I rejected her proposal, telling her, the kit very expensive, I don't want to be disappointed again. Michelle told me off, saying I earned so much (actually I dun earn much, fyi) and cannot afford the test kit and she told me not to play play if really preg, cuz I may overlook on certain things that affect the bb. I remembered that very day I tested was a thursday as my colleagues were going to Changi Airport T3 to have lunch and there is a Watson there, and any purchase there is net of GST. So being an accountant, I very calculative mah, so I made use of the opportunity to grab a test kit there and when back to office to test. 


I was delighted! I took pic of it and sms to hub, he called me, what is it?? -_-''' goon du hub!!! 

He asked me confirm anot, ask me got test wrongly?? I was WTF.... And he said let's go test again at the clinic to confirm. !@#$%^%$#@!  I got so gon meh, can test wrongly! Anyway, we still made our way to the clinic to have the Dr's professional confirmation.
